Your lilac scent wafted softly
through the cool night air.
Gently you kissed me,
your blood red lips soft
as the freshly fallen snow.
So quietly you raised a gleaming dagger,
and plunged it through my heart.
The frozen steel blade
sent white-hot pain shooting
through my veins.
I screamed out in agony,
as you whispered sweet
meaningless
nothing
in my ear.
In the warmth of your porcaline embrace
I lay slowly dying.
Yiou smothered me--
silken brown locks gleaming ghostly
in the silver moonlight.
The salty, copper taste filled my mouth--
warm and thick.
The honey of life itself
spilled from my aching heart:
crimson teardrops kissed the virgin white snow.
